Tate Farms....

Saturday Morning (Oct 2nd) Tripp and I got up with the kids and headed over to Tate Farms... Not only did we have a fantastic time, one of the things that stood out was how clean and fresh the farm felt. Everything looked brand new and just very well planned.

We started the outing with a little bunny petting. Padyn liked touching her nose to the bunny's nose and of course petting the soft bunny. She pointed out the ears to us, then it was Porter's turn. I honestly think he could have cared less about the bunny, but he liked to be able to do the same thing that his sister was doing. We also got to pet a goat and then the cutest puppies... Padyn would clap and click her tongue trying to get the puppies to come to her... she kept barking at them and it was so precious. She just laughed and loved the puppies.

There was a 30ft slide that Padyn and I made our way down... I don't think she knew what to think of it.

We then made our way over to the big trailer filled with cotton. Porter loved it and after a while Padyn got into it and started "jumpy jumpy" in the trailer.

Out Next stop was the Corn Crib. HUGE bins, almost like a swimming pool filled with corn kernels. Both kids loved it and aside from the corn down their pants it was an fun filled stop.

It was then time to take a hayride out to the pumpkin patch to get a pumpkin. The kids had fun on the ride and didn't know what to think about the big field of pumpkins. Padyn knew they were "orange" but by the end of the day she knew it was a pumpkin.

After our hayride we had lunch at the farm and after a few more stops for pictures we headed home. All in all a perfect fall day and to top it off Alabama won the game that night!
