$75 savings at Publix

This Morning I feel so productive and it is only 10am. We started the morning with breakfast with my dad (G-Daddy), Tripp and Jeff. The boys were off to play golf and the kids and I hit Publix for our weekly shopping trip. Some weeks I plan ahead beautifully and use my coupons and take advantage of the sales, but some weeks like this week I prepare ahead. I have my list and my coupons and of course the sale flyer. Combine it all and create my "game plan".
Today was particuarlly successful. I saved $75!!! I wanted to share some of my "big" game changers I call them. The sales that are huge and the combos I love.

Now let me start with I am not the typical couponer. I rarely by things just b/c it is on sale or I have a coupon. I have my staples and regulars that I stock up on when on sale and appreciate the occasional coupon. Therefore I do not have weeks like this one every week they way some couponers do. I don't by a ton of processed meals or prepared meals.
Deal of the week for me
Enfagrow formula ( I usually by Costco brand at $17 for 36 oz)
Today I got 2 (24oz) containers priced at $16. Then Publix had a coupon for $7 off two and I have 2 manufacturers coupons for $5 each and a Target coupon for $5. So I got $32 of formula for $10 total. $5 each can.... unbeatable.

I also had a coupon for a free bottle of Advil ($4.50)

Last week there was a BOGO on hunts fire roasted tomatos, which i use all the time in soups, spaghetti, jambalya, sauces, and with veggies. But sadly when I got to the store they were all out, so I asked for a rain check. Today I was able to cash in my rain check. Plus I had a coupon (yea). so I got 8 cans for $0.37 each.

The Motts applejuice was on sale so I stocked up on them (8 @ 1.67) a savings of $8.64

I was able to use a $1 off coupon on apples from target which is rare to find coupons on produce.

Coffee creamer was $1 off and some Gerber food and cereals were on sale as well, so I took advantage and stocked up.

Cheerios were BOGO as well and Monster LOVES his cheerios. Reg $3.99 and then I had 2 $0.75 off coupons. So each box was $1.25 which is huge for name brand cheerios. (in my book anyway)

Pasta was BOGO as well plus I signed up for a Mullers coupon book and have a coupon each month. So I was able to pair it with my monthly coupon. and get 2 boxes for $0,47 each and then a few more for the regular sale price of $0.75 each.

I almost forgot, While checking out the cashier said... wait I have a $5 off coupon that I am going to give you, so she rain to her locker or whatever and brought me back another coupon so I scored another $5!

After shopping with the kids I dropped them off at school and got all the grocery's put away, and it is only 10:26... Wooohoooo what a start to the day!

Anyway enough of bragging for me :) gotta head to Costco for meat and dog food...
