So I am not a huge Marti Gras person, but I do love some beignets. On one of Tripp's parents trips to New Orleans they brought us back some beignet mix from Cafe Du Monde. Now I have made beignets from scratch and they were definitely better than the mix, but they do take a lot longer and since I wasn't on-top of it we used the mix and they were sufficient.
So Padyn helped me roll it out....
Then I fried them up and coated in powered sugar and the kids ate them..... Even picky monster ate fried dough covered with sugar... go figure.
